Boardwalk Replacement!

Incase you haven't heard, the boardwalk is currently in the process of being completely rebuilt!

Board by Board is an exciting new campaign that was launched by the Trustees of Conneaut Lake Parkin conjunction with Park Restoration.  Click Here to learn more about the campaign and see how you can be a part of it!

This past weekend, the first 60ft section of the 650 foot Boardwalk was removed (as you can see in the following snapshots).

The plan is to have this section replaced by Memorial Day weekend.

Fun Fact!
Did you know that the original height of Conneaut Lake's waterline was considerably higher at one time?  Years ago, several feet of water were drained from the lake.  In 1936 when the boardwalk was first constructed, they built it at the same level as the original water line!
